🧄🍝 Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta Recipe
Servings: 2–3
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
200g (7 oz) spaghetti or your favorite pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: chopped parsley, chili flakes, grilled chicken or mushrooms
Boil the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
Add Cream & Cheese:
Pour in the heavy cream. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss well to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley, chili flakes, or toppings of your choice. Serve warm.
For a protein boost, add grilled chicken or shrimp.
Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
Use fettuccine or penne instead of spaghetti for variety.
